If I had to do it all over again...

How I came to be the person I am, and the journey I have yet to face.

Today is a good day

Well, today was a good day again. My students are kicking butt, my world is rocking, and I see the doctor tomorrow about my knee. I mine as well ask him about my throath and stomach while I am at it. That means I may be able to start running and training very soon.

I realize that I am in need of sleep though. I guess someone was right in saying that blogging would keep me up. That is why I am writting my summary today at 8:30 instead of 11:00 like I normally do. That and the fact that house was moved due to the Tiger Yankee game. I am a little ticked at the Tiger's performance, but I have a feeling they will win tonight. Verlander is pitching for us. That is a good rookie there.

One of my old Fraternity brothers called me today when I was on my way home from work (Eric Leung). We had a great talk, and I found out that I had won the Grimes award at homecoming. It came as a shock to me, especially because of the fact that I was doing some volunteer work for my school at the time. If I am not mistaken, I am the first recipient of the Grimes award. I will have to attend a meeting and figure it out, but it will be worth to drive to learn more about Brother Grimes. If I recall correctly he was a member of the armed forces that gave his life in the service, but that could be 100% wrong. I remember a little about what Dan Preston said about him last year, and what I do remember makes me feel honored and humbled to recieve it.

I guess you just need to remember to live life to the fullest, and there is always someone you can help... always.
